Our clerks are working intensively on your applications and every interruption costs valuable time for processing. It currently takes around 8 weeks to process a BAföG application once all documents have been received.
But don't worry: even if the processing takes a while – if the application is approved, the BAföG payment begins with the receipt of the application or at the earliest from the month in which the course starts at the university.
